Ariel developed and runs the Heartwood Postpartum Care Program through the Shuswap Providence Medical Clinic in Salmon Arm. This Shuswap-based program offers home visits in the postpartum period in a collaborative model with nurses and family physicians to support new parenthood and breastfeeding through education and hands on support!
